About PsychGigs
A psychiatry-first career platform built around precision, transparency, and the conditions that make excellent clinicians want to stay.
Who we are
PsychGigs connects psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and healthcare organizations through structured, preference-based matching.
Instead of mass outreach and inbox overload, clinicians define what matters: location, schedule, compensation, clinical work, mission, family, and future. They control how and when an introduction can happen. Employers reach people for whom the role has a real reason to fit.
The team
PsychGigs brings together medicine, research, technology, operations, finance, law, and business development around one clinician-first mission.

Why it started
While training in medicine and business, founder Benjamin Sprouse met behavioral-health clinicians considering leaving at the point when their experience should have mattered most. They were not walking away because they lacked purpose. They were exhausted by administrative burden, poor fit, and systems that rarely listened.
At the same time, hospitals and clinics carried vacancies for months, while recruiters relied on volume, cold outreach, and surface-level job descriptions. PsychGigs began as a response to both sides of that failure.
Read the founder’s noteWhat we believe
A résumé is not enough. Work, life, constraints, and ambitions all shape whether an opportunity is viable.
Clinicians choose their visibility, threshold, and introduction path. Privacy is part of the product.
Better Role Profiles make the conditions, tradeoffs, and real strengths of a position visible.
The right role is the one a clinician can believe in, build around, and sustain.
